Udah mau tidur, tapi radio tiba-tiba memutar lagu yang baru 2 kali kudengar waktu aku di kereta Argo Muria. Ternyata judulnya Time For Miracles, dibawakan oleh Adam Lambert.
Ini lagu bertemakan cinta, tapi jangan salah, karakter lagu ini sangat kuat, apalagi kalau lihat videonya, yang notabene potongan-potongan adegan dalam film 2012. Orang ini masih sempat bernyanyi buat kekasihnya saat dunia sedang tunggang langgang.
Check it out, terutama buat Ardy Wiranata yang konon kabarnya sedang patah hati. Dan buat semua yang sedang berjuang mengejar mimpinya, berlari dan jangan berhenti walau bumi terbelah dua.

I used to listen to this song since I was a kid, because my family members love Queen’s songs, we have some of their albums. Eventhough I listened to this song many times before, but once I heard this song played on the radio in the middle of the night, and suddenly I felt Freddy Mercury‘s sad endings. That time, I told myself that this must be his last song, but I didn’t know the truth about this song, until this evening. All of a sudden I want to hear it once again, and wikipedia says that this really is his last song!

Well then, I’ve been listening to Sabrina’s songs this whole week, and I brought those files back home. And now I present you a song entitled Insomnia, suit for girls who are currently falling in love.
For me, it only reminds me of those time when I totally committed to finish a college task, and I spent nearly 12 hours sleepless before got it finished. And I gave away my work, had it copied by people who attended the lab. At the end, I didn’t get a good mark for the task, because some of them submit similar codes.
The lab was entitled “visual programming“. Totally fun!
Yes, I was a marching band guy when I was in junior high school. Strange enough, because actually I have no talent in playing any instrument. I just loved to see those marching band guys proudly playing their musics with formations, and then I joined.
After audition, I got accepted in horn line squad, trumpet 2 instrument before moved to trumpet 1 in my second year of junior high school. I never felt convident in playing those instruments, but yet I enjoyed the hard trainings. Yes, the training was so hard that I spent my whole sundays at school. When I was in my first year, the squads are so great; we got pure talents such as Adin and Chiang in horn line. Then we got Ginanjar and Rifky on melo. But the next year, when they retired, it seemed that the next generation never leveled their abilities. I was supposed to be in Adin or Chiang’s position, but I just couldn’t play it well. Luckily we had Anita, so trumpet 1 was saved.

Ternyata lagu ini juga muncul di film 50 First Dates, dinyanyikan oleh Israel Kamakawiwo’ole dengan petikan gitar yang syahdu, seakan-akan ada di pantai, di bawah pohon bernyanyi dengan riang ^_^
