I am living my dream!
Today’s sermon reminded me that we do not have the ability to see the future. It is not ours; it is way beyond our knowledge. Therefore, all we can is to embrace the present and submit to the Almighty God. He creates the plans for me, and for you. The good ones. There are things I did not expect to happen, but in fact, it is happening. I have been given an interesting life. And for that I am grateful. I did not forget my past. I did not forget those hard times I had, for it brings me to my knees, praising God that He is good and always good to me.
It has been a month since my second coming to the university. This time, I enjoyed it too much; I treasure every second of it. Although I need to let go a lot of things before moving here, it is worth the sacrifice. I let go my position as a public official in one of the best agency in the country. I let go my 8 years experience of working there in exchange of different life path; more exciting and better opportunities. But it will not happen without God’s grace. There are things beyond my control and beyond my imagination.
I was once a teenager not knowing whether I could get into a university for a bachelor program. Now I am a Ph.D. student with a full scholarship. The tuition, living allowance, and even the expensive insurance are covered!
How great my God is!
